Indyvideo was invited to support the realisation of the Dutch Pavilion at the 2024 Venice Biennale. For the 60th edition of this international art exhibtion, our contribution consisted in designing, devising, testing and shipping a travelling live streaming set from the Netherlands to Congo. The set consisted of three cameras which would be live streaming the activities of the White Cube in Lusanga daily in the context of the pavillion in Venice.  In addition, we installed a tryptich of displays screening three films which combined were titled “The Judgement of the White Cube”.

All of this was part of “The International Celebration of Blasphemy and the Sacred” a presentation by Congolese artist collective
Cercle d’Art des Travailleurs de Plantation Congolaise (CATPC). Created in collaboration with artist Renzo Martens and curator Hicham Khalidi, it highlights CATPC’s endeavour to reclaim exhausted plantation lands and to restore the Sacred Forest, along with their broader mission of spiritual, ethical and economic reckoning. The exhibition was commissioned by the Dutch Mondriaan Fund.
