Every November documentary film makers, professionals and afficionados come to Amsterdam to celebrate documentary film in all its facets at International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam, or IDFA. For ten days, multiple locations in the capital are turned into bustling festival venues with screenings, talks and events such as the awards ceremony. Some of them are cinemas and already have the necessary infrastructure, others are especially transformed for the occasion. During the ten day festival, the Indyvideo team sets up shop at one of the venues to coordinate film logistics, quality control, technical set-up and support and everything else needed in terms of audiovisual technology.
