Self-Portrait as a Coffee Pot is a series of nine episodes of approximately 30 minute films realised by William Kentridge, produced by The Office Arts, curated by Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev. On the occasion of its launch at the Arsenale Institute for Politics of Representation, in Venice (April 17 – November 24, 2024), Indyvideo was asked to contribute with the AV design, content handling and technical installation of the exhibition. The piece was shown in the gallery on two large monitors on easels and on an iPhone, all playing in synch, with 5.1 audio through the space. In addition, during the opening week, the work could be experienced also in the apartment above the gallery, on an array of displays positioned in the different rooms.
