Film is not just projection on a screen, it’s a spatial experience as well. In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the film museum and the 50th edition of International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR), EYE and IFFR asked five important filmmakers from five different continents to create a work that uses the three-dimensional space instead of the two-dimensional screen. INDYVIDEO advised on and realized the technical aspects of the cinematographic installations by Lucrecia Martel (South-America), Nanouk Leopold (Europe), Lemohang Jeremiah Mosese (Africa), Carlos Reygadas (North-America) en Jia Zhang-ke (Asia).
